Troubleshooting Common Issues in Chrome

If you’re experiencing issues using Screenweave in Chrome, try the following troubleshooting steps:

1. Check Permissions

Ensure that Chrome has permission to access your camera and microphone.

  • Click the lock icon next to the URL in the address bar.
  • Set Camera and Microphone to "Allow."

2. Clear Browser Cache

Clearing your cache can resolve many issues.

  • Go to Chrome settings (three dots in the top-right corner).
  • Navigate to "Privacy and security" > "Clear browsing data."
  • Select "Cached images and files" and click "Clear data."

3. Disable Extensions

Some browser extensions can interfere with Screenweave.

  • Go to Chrome settings > "Extensions."
  • Temporarily disable all extensions and see if the issue persists.
  • Re-enable extensions one by one to identify the problematic one.

4. Update Chrome

Ensure you’re using the latest version of Chrome.

  • Go to Chrome settings > "About Chrome."
  • Chrome will check for updates and install them automatically.

5. Restart Chrome

Sometimes a simple restart can fix the issue.

  • Close all Chrome tabs and windows.
